The Red Fox Alpine Lodge, nestled in the protective shadow of Vermont's
famous mountain pass, "Smugglers' Notch" can claim its origins as a circa 1860
church, later converted into a school house. In 1970, a new two story wing was
added to the structure and the Red Fox began its current incarnation as a
charming, yet fun youth group lodge set on over 5 acres in the lovely rural
community of Jeffersonville, VT. Not coincidentally, year-round outdoor recreation
opportunities abound all around the Red Fox, given it's ideal location adjacent to
"the Notch" and to its proximity to Smugglers' Notch Resort, a nationally acclaimed
ski & ride resort and home to some of the best hiking and mountain biking trails to
be found anywhere!
Christian Pinillos Director of Operations, Red Fox Alpine Lodge
Christian, a native of Lima, Peru, has been running the Red Fox Alpine Lodge for
over six years — to rave reviews, we might add! Christian’s knowledge,
intelligence, great wit, and way with our guests are of great benefit to both US and
YOU! He leads a friendly and talented staff, with your safety being their #1 goal!
